Williamstown Opens Early Ballots for Observer Review Ahead of Primary

Williamstown opened early-voted ballots for observer review Aug. 26 and 27, a procedural step in the run-up to the Sept. 1 state primary, according to the town's official website.

The town held ballot opening sessions on Aug. 26 and 27, with registered observers welcome to attend, the town said. The sessions are part of Williamstown's preparation ahead of Tuesday's primary election, a story the town's website has tracked through the month as it rolled out its early voting schedule.

COMING UP

In-person early voting continues Monday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Town Hall, 31 North St. The State Primary Election follows Tuesday, Sept. 1, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Williamstown Elementary School Gymnasium, 115 Church St. The Berkshire Regional Planning Commission's Executive Committee meets virtually Thursday, Sept. 3, at 4 p.m.
