Williamstown Launches Free Wednesday Fitness Classes for July
A free outdoor fitness program launches in July, the Town Clerk's office is running on limited hours through Monday, and the Margaret Lindley Park swimming area remains closed — the three items worth knowing as Williamstown heads into the weekend.
TOWN HALL
The town has announced free community workout classes at the outdoor Fitness Court every Wednesday morning in July, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The classes are open to all residents and require no registration.
Also worth noting: the Town Clerk's office is operating on reduced hours — 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. only — on Thursday, Friday, and Monday (June 25, 26, and 29). Residents who need full-service clerk functions should plan accordingly before the holiday week.
The Margaret Lindley Park swimming area, closed as of Wednesday, June 24, due to elevated bacterial counts, remains shut until further notice. No updated test results had been posted as of Friday afternoon.
