Town Clerk's Office to close early twice next week
The Williamstown Town Clerk's Office will operate on shortened hours on two upcoming days, town officials announced, while an art exhibit opening at the Clark Art Institute offers a community highlight for the week ahead.

The Town Clerk's Office will be open only from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, and again on Monday, August 3, according to a notice posted on the town's website. Residents with business at the office, including election-related paperwork, should plan around the abbreviated schedule.
The announcement comes as the town continues to process 2026 Vote by Mail applications, which are due in the Clerk's office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25.

The Community Access to the Arts (CATA) Annual Art Show is featured in a vibrant exhibit on display at two locations, including the Clark Art Institute's Lunder Center at Stone Hill in Williamstown, according to a Berkshire Edge listing.
