The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 18 Williamstown property transfers from Sept. 11 to Oct. 10, but sale prices have posted for only seven so far, a typical lag of about a week before registry data catches up. Among the seven priced deeds, prices ranged from $19,075 to $400,000, with a median of $47,725. The period's top transaction was a $400,000 sale at 701 Hancock Rd., conveyed from Stephen N. Pagnotta and Jean M. Culver to Adams Community Bank. Several other deeds list banks, credit unions or family trusts as buyers or sellers, a pattern more associated with foreclosure and trust-administration filings than conventional home sales this period.
