Fifteen deeds recorded, two disclosed prices define quiet month

Fifteen property transfers were recorded in Williamstown between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only two disclosed a sale price: $180,000 for 28 Bingham Street and $710,100 for 888 Hancock Road, the period's top recorded sale. Based on those two figures, the price range was $180,000 to $710,100 with a median of $445,050; the remaining 13 records carried no disclosed consideration. At least eight transfers listed a bank or credit union as a party, and several others reflected transfers among family members or into trusts. With price data disclosed in just two of 15 filings, the month's records offer limited insight into overall market conditions.
