WILLIAMSTOWN — The Council on Aging highlighted free bus fare and a slate of new summer offerings in a fresh round of July notes, part of a low-key news day dominated by community programming rather than town hall decisions.

The Council on Aging posted additional July notes detailing a Fall Prevention Class, upcoming author talks, an updated exercise class schedule, and free bus fare for riders, according to the town's News Flash feed. The announcement builds on the agency's earlier July calendar release and continues a summer push to connect seniors with transportation and wellness resources.
Beyond the Council on Aging update, town hall's public calendar shows a busy stretch of meetings ahead, including the Conservation Commission on July 9, the Select Board on July 13, and the Planning Board and a Well #2 meeting with Dave Caron on July 14.

The Milne Public Library's Board of Trustees met July 8 at 1095 Main St., according to the town calendar listing.
